Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to support the assembly, modification, and rework of printed circuit boards (PCBs), wire harnesses, and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have experience in circuit board assembly, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting moderately complex build issues while following engineering drawings and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PCB Assembly & Rework: Prepare, load, and solder printed circuit boards (PCBs) with minimal supervision, including rework and modifications of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and basic components.
  • Wire Harness & Cable Fabrication: Fabricate moderately complex wire harnesses and various cable assemblies.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly of panels, test boxes, and chassis.
  • Issue Resolution & Execution: Execute assembly plans based on requirements and resolve moderately complex build issues.
  • Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints to perform assembly operations accurately.
  • Repair & Modifications: Conduct repairs, rework, removal, and modifications to assemblies or sub-assemblies as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of new assembly processes and best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve moderately complex assembly issues and escalate more advanced problems as necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with soldering, PCB assembly, and mechanical integration.
  • Ability to fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for build issues.
  • Experience performing rework, modifications, and repairs on assemblies.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
