Job Description
ITS Techs provides top-tier IT support for both businesses and consumers, specializing in computer repair, network management, and system optimization. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable technology solutions that keep our clients’ systems running smoothly. We are looking for a skilled Computer Repair Technician to join our team. If you have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, working with both Windows and Apple devices, and a background in system engineering, we’d love to hear from you!
Part-Time or Sub-Contractor with potential to go Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other devices for both businesses and individual consumers.
• Troubleshoot operating system errors, malware infections, and performance issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware components.
• Provide technical support in person, remotely, and over the phone.
• Set up and maintain business and residential computer networks and peripherals.
• Assist businesses with data recovery, backup solutions, and system migrations.
• Document repairs, diagnostics, and service reports.
• Stay up to date with IT trends, security protocols, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
• Required:
• Proven experience in computer repair, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Strong understanding of hardware components and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Preferred:
• Experience working with businesses and understanding their IT needs.
• Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) or equivalent Apple repair experience.
• Systems engineering experience, including server setup and network configuration.
• Familiarity with cloud services and cybersecurity best practices.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
