What You Will Do
We're looking for a highly skilled and proactive Manufacturing Electronics Technician to join our production floor. This role is essential to maintaining the high quality and efficiency of our manufacturing lines, blending technical repair expertise with hands-on operational leadership.
\n - Manufacturing & Equipment Maintenance: Serve as the technical expert responsible for testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic components and test equipment. Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
\n - Production & Quality Assurance: Set up, operate, and monitor assembly lines following SOPs. Conduct in-process quality checks and repairs to ensure all products meet design specifications.
\n - Process Leadership: Act as the team trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME), consistently applying 5-S principles and suggesting opportunities for continuous improvement.
\n - Documentation & Safety: Meticulously complete all production and quality control documentation. Work safely and effectively communicate status across shifts and with management.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
\n - Associate Degree or certification equivalent. One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n - Certified in J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 a plus.
\n - Read and follow blueprints and/or detailed written instructions.
\n - Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
\n - Interpret test results.
\n - Have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to understand, operate, and troubleshoot equipment.
\n - Be proficient in using various hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
\n - Define process or quality problems and report as necessary.
\n - Write numbers and letters accurately and legibly.
\n - Manage multiple duties, establish priorities, and follow through.
\n - Communicate effectively with product engineers and manufacturing management to resolve problem situations.

About Trimble's Production and Operations Team
The Dayton Operations team is a high-volume, quality-driven organization that is fundamental to getting Trimble's hardware products from concept and component form into the hands of customers worldwide. It is a major, sophisticated hub focused on manufacturing, quality assurance, and global physical distribution for the company's hardware and technology solutions.
Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
