We are hiring for a company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for a Cross Dock Forklift Operator in Mississauga, ON.

Start Date: Immediately

Shifts Available:

• Morning: Start between 9:00 am – 10:00 am
• Evening: Start between 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
• Overnight: Start between 12:00 am – 2:00 am

Location: Mississauga, ON

Rate: $25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a cross-dock environment
• Load and unload trailers according to shipment priority and routing
• Properly stage, stack, and verify shipments
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of freight being moved
• Maintain a clean and organized dock area
• Work as part of a team to meet daily shipping/receiving targets

Requirements:

• Valid forklift license 
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Previous cross-dock or LTL experience is an asset
• Ability to efficiently secure trailer loads, maximizing space
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and able to with independently with no supervision
• Reliable and punctual with flexible availability
