Join Our Team as an ID Grind Machinist!

Are you ready to take your machining skills to the next level? At Regal Rexnord, we’re looking for a talented ID Grind Machinist who is passionate about precision and efficiency. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, producing high-quality parts that meet our exacting standards.

Your Mission:

As an ID Grind Machinist, you will:

• Set up and operate grinding machines to produce parts according to blueprint and engineering specifications.
• Select, mount, and calibrate attachments to grind various angles, contours, and surfaces.
• Dress and change wheels to achieve the desired finish.
• Train and mentor lower-level associates, sharing your expertise and insights.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate records throughout the process.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• At least three years of experience in CNC ID grinding equipment operation.
• Proficiency in using indicators, gauges, and inspection methods for precision machined parts.
• The ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0003”) and understand machine tool accuracies.
• Knowledge of cutting wheel feeds, speeds, and wheel life specific to aerospace grinding.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprints.
• The capability to lift up to 25 lbs (more with assistance) and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma is a plus.
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder) due to ITAR requirements.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.00 - $32.00 , based on your experience and qualifications.
