House Manager, A prominent client is seeking a refined, discreet, and hospitality-oriented House Manager to oversee operations at their fully staffed Bridgehampton, NY residence. This full-time, year-round position offers a long-term opportunity to join a professional, collaborative team that values excellence, discretion, and loyalty. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing high-end private homes or estates, possesses natural leadership abilities, and demonstrates a proactive, detail-driven approach. The House Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the home and for delivering a world-class hospitality experience to the principals and their guests. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for the residence, working closely with the Family Office Lead the interior team and coordinate with the Property Caretaker Manage household schedules, daily operations, and seasonal priorities Provide hands-on support and leadership, modeling professionalism and excellence Ensure an elevated hospitality experience, including table service and guest readiness Oversee intimate events and coordinate with Chefs, caterers, and service staff for larger events Track and manage inventories, supplies, and household purchases Maintain digital records, household manuals, and maintenance schedules Coordinate vendors and maintenance providers (e.g., AV, HVAC, pest control) Take the lead on special projects and managing seasonal deep cleans Maintain a high level of discretion and ensure household privacy at all times Qualifications 10+ years of experience in high-end private service or estate management A background in luxury hospitality or service is strongly preferred Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team Deep understanding of formal and informal service standards Highly organized with keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a gracious, low-ego demeanor Hands-on, "no task too small" mentality Technically savvy; comfortable managing calendars, budgets, and digital systems Experience with the care of fine homes, materials, and furnishings Discreet, trustworthy, and professional with excellent, verifiable references Schedule & Availability Off-Season: MondayFriday, approximately 9 AM5 PM (flexible start available) In-Season: MondayFriday with availability on weekends as needed for events and guest support Compensation & Benefits $200,000 $225,000 base salary, commensurate with experience Annual discretionary bonus Fully paid health insurance 401(k) with match Life and disability insurance Generous PTO, paid holidays, and more #indmps
