Job Description o Lead overall Threat Intelligence platform engineering teams providing guidance in technologies, product feature definitions and architecture. o Utilize your in-depth systems applications and security knowledge in providing leadership and guidance. o Have high visibility to upper management. Responsibilities: Responsible for a global team of engineers involved in the product delivery life cycle. Able to fit in well within an informal environment and to provide hands-on management. Ensure the timely completion of multiple complex, independent projects and provide technical direction in a matrix environment. Coordinate the testing and integration activities. Manage day to day development activities being an example to the team. Self-starter, proactive and must be able to multitask. Excellent communication skills and experience to work with overseas engineering teams. Experience in estimating project effort and scope for services. Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to meet scalability and growth targets, create prototypes, and carry out phased development and deployment plans. Qualifications Required Skills/Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience managing fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams. Experience producing and integrating enterprise applications and on-premise appliance-based products. Knowledge of enterprise software installation/deployment processes, security topics, performance, and scalability. Cross system and application integrations experience – UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments. Substantial knowledge of Enterprise Systems and Architectures. Strong customer communication and leadership skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. Proficient with Python plus Django and/or Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Java (JAX-RS, Hibernate, etc.) or another modern Web Stack and/or Scripting Language. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and full-text search engines such as ElasticSearch. Knowledge of Cloud/SaaS based infrastructure, using Amazon AWS, EC2, RDS, S3, etc. Experience with enterprise security products, such as SIEMs, Proxies, Content-Aware Firewalls, IDS/IPS, host monitoring systems, etc. is a plus. Experience with data science and analytics, such as data mining, machine learning algorithms, anomaly detection, etc., is a plus. Works well in an agile team environment.
