About the Role

Responsible for taking ownership of our marketing channel and highlighting our community involvement. This position will focus on planning and developing marketing strategy to drive engagement and brand awareness, while evaluating channel analytics and maintaining website content through our Content Management System (CMS). This position will manage website updates including SEO optimization and customer testimonials, provide forward-thinking ideas, conduct market research, and share marketing best practices internally. This position will manage key vendor relationships including marketing/advertising agency and lead generation partners. This position will assist in developing a suite of creative visuals including graphics, images and videos. Work is performed within bank and statutory policies and procedures; independent judgement and complex decision-making is required to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a variety of internal stakeholders to develop and produce engaging marketing content that builds brand awareness, encourages interaction, and aligns with the Bank's strategy and goals.
  • Build content plans and campaigns; take ownership of presenting ideas for team approval and partnering on creative assets to coordinate and deliver timely posts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our approach to social media, build our audience, and enhance our digital presence through market research.
  • Ensure brand standards are met; manage consistency in key messaging, design elements, and voice across all platforms.
  • Identify, plan, and attend community and internal events to capture photos and videos as needed; develop a plan to share those events both internally and externally.
  • Write short overviews and internal emails to highlight community involvement
  • Support employee engagement efforts and encourage participation.
  • Provide guidelines and training to team members on how to successfully use social platforms to enhance their online presence and engage with the Bank's accounts.
  • Support event planning, including quarterly meetings, company-wide events, webinars, and customer appreciation events as needed.
  • Assist with crisis communications through social media and website which may occur outside the normal workday schedule.
  • Collect, review and analyze metrics and data to discover trends and make informed recommendations.
  • Suggest new technology and best practices to increase impact and efficiency.
  • Build relationships with community partners and identify opportunities for shared engagement.
  • Work with philanthropy partners and sponsorship leads to deliver branded collateral and assets.
  • Manage and update website content through the CMS platform, ensuring information is current and accurate.
  • Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) following best practices.
  • Collect, edit, and publish customer testimonials across digital platforms.
  • Monitor website analytics and make content recommendations based on user behavior.
  • Own and manage relationships with marketing/advertising agency and lead generation vendors, including performance monitoring, budget management, and campaign oversight.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop and execute marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies, and creative initiatives.
  • Review and evaluate vendor performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership on ROI and campaign effectiveness.
  • Comply with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or other related field.
  • Possess a minimum of two years of professional work experience on a marketing team.
  • Proven experience and proficiency professionally creating, posting, and using social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Google, Yelp, and X. Basic photography and video capture experience with a phone.
  • Proven experience working independently and managing multiple projects within given deadlines.
  • Experience with copywriting or professional writing preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Creative design experience preferred.
  • Vendor management experience preferred.
