Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Manager!

Are you detail-oriented, passionate about quality, and skilled in ensuring compliance with industry standards? Thermo-Temp Inc. (TTI) is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set Up Scope of Work : Verify customer contracts, purchase orders, and procedures to ensure compliance with calibration requirements.
  • Document Review : Assess calibration documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to TTI and customer standards.
  • QMS Lead : Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and other industry standards. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain quality assurance processes and certifications. Successfully prepare for and consistently achieve clear audit results.
  • Corrective Action : If there are audit findings, close corrective actions within 30 days. Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and non-conformances, while implementing corrective actions.
  • Review and Inspection : Act as a backup for reviewing calibration reports and inspecting outgoing items to ensure compliance.
  • Qualification Review of Approved Vendor List (AVL) : Assess new Vendors for outsourcing, make Vendor recommendations, and complete annual evaluation of Vendors on the AVL to ensure they followed requirements, score, and determine whether to continue or end using the Vendor.
  • Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) : Monitor and ensure compliance with TTI's Safety Program, as well as those of agencies and clients. Complete safety questionnaires. Ensure safety training is regularly provided and documented, whether from internal or external training resources.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education/Experience: Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; plus, a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • As a QMS Lead must be knowledgeable and current on primarily ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AMS 2750, API, and Nuclear Audits with the ability to teach others.
  • Must be customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to manage customer interactions professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documents and data, and strong mathematical abilities. Knowledge of quality assurance principles and experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • A business-minded, proactive, hands-on problem-solver with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database software.
