About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Management Systems Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist the Director of Quality & HSE in the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Maverick Power Quality Management System for all Maverick Power facilities.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Maverick Power ISO 9001-2015 QMS
  • Key 2025 goal is to get all facilities ISO 9001-2015 certified by end of 2025
  • Lead Auditor (Internal Audits) responsible for planning, scheduling, and performing internal audits (identify and train internal auditors)
  • Coordinate the scheduling of customer or third-party audit requests at MP facilities
  • Communicate internal and external audit results and ensure all OFI’s and Corrective Actions are addressed
  • Lead the Document Control process for QMS related documentation to comply with external and internal standards
  • Create and deliver ISO 9001-2015 QMS training for all employees
  • Lead the calibration process – maintain records, perform audits, coordinate calibrations with third party calibration providers (All Maverick Power facilities)
  • Maintain employee training records in compliance with ISO requirements

What You Bring

Required:

  • Certified Quality Auditor – ISO 9001-2015
  • 5 years of experience supporting multiple manufacturing and facilities in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of an ISO 9001 QMS
  • 5 years of direct experience planning, conducting, and managing internal audits for multiple manufacturing facilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and orally, with all levels of employment within an organization
  • Ability to read interpret ISO standards, technical documents, statutory and regulatory documents, job descriptions, and other documents
  • Highly organized
  • High sense of urgency in performing responsibilities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Leadership skills are paramount to success in this position
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to use computers, tablets, and other electronic devices
  • Must comply with all Safety and PPE requirements

Desired

  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor
  • Certified Lead Auditor ISO 9001 QMS – Exemplar Global (formerly RAB/RABQSA)
  • 5 years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Prior ISO 9001-2015 QMS Auditor experience working for an independent third-party registrar
  • Experience utilizing various auditing software (creating and performing audits)
  • Knowledge and experience with other ISO standards and certifications such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Vietnamese and/or Spanish desired, but not required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Will consider candidates with an associate’s degree, certifications, and extensive hands-on experience as a Quality Management Systems Manager role supporting multiple manufacturing/assembly plants

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time while performing various job responsibilities
  • Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, stoop, and bend
  • Ability to work in manufacturing/assembly facilities around various types of tools and equipment
  • Must have 20/20 vision or correctable to 20/20
  • Must not be hearing impaired due to working in production areas that require the ability to hear emergency alerts, verbal alerts, and directions in the event of an emergency
  • Ability to work in workspaces that are not climate controlled for extended periods of time year-round
  • Ability to travel to all MP facilities as needed, travel types include driving and flying

Work Environment

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
