This is a hybrid position at our Headquarters location in Overland Park, KS.

Position Summary

The Recruiter will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting processes for both warehouse locations nationwide and headquarters roles in Overland Park, KS. You will work closely with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring an exceptional experience from sourcing to onboarding. This role will also work closely with agencies on our temporary hiring needs being the liaison between the agency and the locations in need of support.

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Recruiting: Successfully manage and fill a large volume of positions in warehouse settings, ensuring rapid placement to meet operational demands.
    • Support large scale recruitment initiatives including new customer volume support, peak seasons, or project needs.
    • Implement efficient recruiting and onboarding processes to ensure seamless hiring while maintaining quality standards.
    • Utilize workforce planning tools to anticipate volume spikes and implement proactive hiring strategies.
  • Agency Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for staffing agencies, overseeing special labor project and temp or temp-to-hire arrangements. Ensure contract compliance, timely placements, and effective communication between the company and agencies.
    • Manage temporary staffing needs, including onboarding, timekeeping, and agency relationships.
    • Ensure agency SLA's are met, invoicing support is managed correctly, and agencies are following standard processes.
    • Assists with timekeeping support for temporary staff and works closely with internal AP team as well as Agencies on invoicing needs.
  • Organizational Support: Partner with warehouse managers and leadership to forecast staffing needs, ensure alignment with operational goals, and provide proactive recruitment strategies to address evolving business demands.
    • Serve as the primary contact for hiring managers, acting as a strategic partner to meet staffing needs.
    • Act as a business partner to hiring manager to train and develop on posting needs. Act as a SME on how the ATS system can function for specific hiring needs.
    • Manage job postings and requisitions within our ATS (Greenhouse).
    • Screen, assess, and present top candidates to hiring managers. In some cases, this role may be responsible for selecting talent for critical roles within the organization.
    • Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate logistics to ensure successful hiring process is achieved.
    • Assist in labor planning meetings and help provide organizational support as a subject matter expert for labor needs across the U.S.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of warehouse candidates for recurring needs, seasonal staffing, part-time including direct outreach and agency partnerships.
    • Source candidates using online platforms, databases, and innovative sourcing strategies.
    • Forecast hiring needs and maintain relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Additional Responsibilities May Include:
    • Maintain recruiting records, candidate pools, and staffing records.
    • Assist in creating and refining job descriptions, interview guides, application and screening questions.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires and temp-to-perm conversions which may include prescreening support and follow ups.
    • creative outreach efforts, such as job fairs or social media campaigns, for hard-to-fill roles.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of high volume recruiting experience or a equivalent combination of education and experience combined.
  • 1 or more years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing coordination, or a related role.
  • Must be proficient in report gathering, and data collecting and presenting.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Staffing agency experience with high-volume recruiting preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
