Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for CalSAWS application.
• Perform functional, regression, and system integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, etc.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality.
• Ensure compliance with CalSAWS program standards and guidelines.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Tester, specifically on the CalSAWS program.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Knowledge of welfare and eligibility systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Working on a Java application
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
