Sr. Site Reliability Engineer $130,000 - $150,000 Birmingham, AL (remote and hybrid options) Senior Site Reliability Engineer Are you a results-driven problem-solver with a passion for ensuring the reliability and scalability of critical systems? Join our client's TechOps team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll play a key role in building resilient infrastructure and enabling development teams to deliver with confidence. What You'll Do: Ensure the reliability and performance of our products and integrated tools. Resolve escalated issues and automate long-term fixes. Identify and address technical debt. Collaborate with development, database, support, and implementation teams. Automate infrastructure and code deployments. Maintain our continuous delivery pipeline. Manage core infrastructure (load balancers, firewalls, etc.). Improve development, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes. Participate in disaster recovery planning. Mentor teammates and share expertise. Join the on-call rotation. Troubleshoot system issues with development teams. What You Bring: ~5+ years in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role. ~ Strong experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef). ~ Scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash. ~ Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD tools. ~ Strong grasp of Linux, networking, and internet technologies. ~ Experience with containers and orchestration. ~ Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. ~ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ~ Familiarity with internet protocols and cloud/virtualization tech (AWS, VMware). Bonus Points For: Knowledge of monitoring tools. Experience with ticketing tools. Knowledge of databases. Development background in relevant languages.
