Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Stand-Up Crown Reach Operator to work in our freezer facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a stand-up reach forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the cold storage environment. The operator will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while adhering to safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up crown reach forklift to move products and materials within the freezer facility, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
• Load, unload, and transport goods from storage areas to other areas of the facility.
• Stack products in the designated storage locations, ensuring products are organized and easily accessible.
• Retrieve and deliver products to designated areas for packing, shipping, or staging.
• Safely operate the forklift within the freezer environment, following all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform regular pre-operation checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and labeling products as they are moved or relocated within the facility.
• Assist with order picking, loading, and unloading of materials as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the proper storage of products and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other necessary precautions in the freezer environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating stand-up reach forklifts, preferably in a warehouse or cold storage environment.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (temperatures ranging from -10&degree;F to 34&degree;F) for extended periods.
• Strong understanding of forklift safety and warehouse operations.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret inventory records.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects using the forklift or manually as required.
