Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 3x12
Schedule Notes: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM EST, on call, callback, holidays as needed
Description:
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.
Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.
Must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Education:
Must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
Licensing/Certification:
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (DOH Licensed MRI Tech) – Required
Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting
BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Experience:
Two (2) Years' Experience
Must have GE Scanner Experience
Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
