Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Working Mode: Onsite (5 days a week)
Experience: 4+ years of network engineering experience, ideally in large-scale data center or service provider environments.
Routing Expertise: Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN EVPN) and their application in complex network environments, with particular focus on WAN and DC interconnects.
Data Center Switching: In-depth experience with data center switching platforms, especially Arista.
Linux Networking: Familiarity with Linux-based network environments and related tools.
Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex IP routing and network path issues in large-scale, distributed networks.
WAN Architecture & Design: Experience with WAN architecture, BGP peering strategies, route control, and interconnect capacity planning.
Automation Tools: Experience with network automation tools and workflows (e.g., Ansible, Jinja, Python, Go).
Security Knowledge: Familiarity with firewall technologies, security groups, and access policies.
Wi-Fi Infrastructure: Exposure to Wi-Fi infrastructure and wireless network design.
Segment Routing: Knowledge of Segment Routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6).
SONiC: Hands-on experience with SONiC or other open networking operating systems.
