Winkley Orthotics and Prosthetics has an immediate opening for a full time Certified Orthotist or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, or Certified Prosthetic/Orthotic Assistant in the Coon Rapids, Minnesota area. Board eligible residents are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate and assess patients to determine their specific prosthetic and orthotic needs.
* Design and fabricate custom prosthetic and orthotic devices using advanced technology and materials.
* Fit and adjust devices to ensure optimal comfort, functionality, and alignment.
* Provide comprehensive patient education on the use and care of devices.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technology and practices.
* Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
* Provide on-call service in a scheduled rotation for evenings and weekend trauma for local hospitals

Requirements:

* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Proficiency in performing physical examinations and assessing patient needs
* Strong patient service skills and ability to provide compassionate care
* Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC), or
* A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
* In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required as well
* A valid driver's license

Pay: $55,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
